  • Equipment is not reserved until you receive a confirmation call or Email.
  • Equipment check-out and return: Monday thru Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. only. One week advance notice is needed for request processing and reservation of equipment.
  • Equipment check-out only at Malibu campus and as long as equipment is available. University equipment must remain on the Malibu campus.
  • Departments must approve check-out for students, student organizations, and campus visitors. Equipment is not for personal use.
  • University equipment training is available from Drescher Tech Support by appointment.
  • Equipment setup is available for some large-scale University events and academic engagements as Drescher Tech Support schedule allows. Three weeks advanced notice is generally needed to accommodate staffing requests for such events.
  • Presenter is expected to meet with technician at appointed time (typically 30 min prior to start) to conduct a test run for staffed events.
  • Client is required to notify check-out personnel of any problems with equipment upon return.
  • Contact University Communications for video conversion/duplication.
  • Charges may be levied for any of the following: staffing; late equipment return; and damaged, lost or stolen equipment.
  • Drescher Tech Support office is open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday during the academic year and 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday during the summer. All equipment checkouts are by appointment only.
  • Drescher Tech Support is located in the Drescher Learning Center within the Computer Lab below the Library.
  • Changes to a request will not be accepted 72 hours prior to the event.
